Not brilliant weather

The cloudbase is gradually increasing from 0 ft to around 800ft now. It is forecast to continue increasing all day but it needs to hurry up!

As a novelty the wind has dropped to almost nothing after the ridiculously high winds we have had all week. People who are used to bracing themselves against the wind are almost falling over as they no longer have to adopt the braced position!
